Kangaroo Time
My Mom and Dad love holding me. It is their favorite part of the day. The nurses here call it "Kangaroo Time." It helps moms/dads and their preemies bond and also is proven to help stabilize my heart rate and breathing, improve my weight gain, increases mom's lactation, make me more alert and help with any crying or colic. Essentially it helps us "bond" skin to skin.
